Ardent Opens Advanced Manufacturing Facility, Meeting Industry's Growing Demand for Carbon Capture

NEW CASTLE, DE (November 15, 2024)— Ardent Process Technologies (Ardent) today unveiled its new Delaware facility, where it will scale solutions that deliver bottom-line value, reflecting industry's enduring commitment to decarbonization.

Ardent’s manufacturing footprint is now triple its previous location. The added capacity and improved lines ensure that Ardent can produce and test membrane solutions that enable near term deployment of commercial CO2 capture systems.

"This facility represents more than an expansion," explained Erica Nemser, CEO of Ardent. "It's where our 30 years of membrane expertise meets industry's fundamental need for decarbonization - a momentum independent of political cycles.”

For the grand opening event, industry leaders, government officials, and technology partners gathered to tour the space, see demonstrations of Ardent’s technology in the labs, and acknowledge the facility’s role in shaping Delaware's position in the changing industrial landscape.

“It’s the impressive growth of companies like Ardent - which is leading the way in cutting edge carbon capture tech,” said Senator Coons. “That shows the rest of the nation and world that Delaware is the premiere destination for innovation.”

“Delaware has always been known for our expertise in science. Ardent is one of the companies ensuring that Delaware remains a leader in innovative research to make a safer future for generations to come,” said Governor Carney. “I want to congratulate Ardent on their expansion and thank them for their commitment to our state.”
