Ardent Process Technologies today announced a planned leadership transition in which Christine Parrish will become Chief Executive Officer effective August 1, 2026, succeeding Erica Nemser, who will continue to support the company through the transition and then serve as Executive Chair.
NEW CASTLE, DE - July 16, 2026 - After more than a decade leading the company as CEO, Erica will continue to play an active role in shaping long-term strategy, supporting major customer and partner relationships, mentoring the leadership team, and leading the company's Board of Directors.
This transition reflects a deliberate succession process and positions the company to continue benefiting from Erica's strategic leadership, relationships, and experience, while empowering Christine to lead the company's next chapter of growth.
As part of this planned transition, Nic Renard will assume the role of Chief Commercial Officer effective August 1, 2026.
“Leading Ardent has been one of the greatest joys, privileges, and learning journeys of my career,” said Erica. “After more than a decade as CEO, this is the right time for a planned transition that reflects both the company's next stage of growth and my changing personal circumstances. I have tremendous confidence in both Christine and Nic, and in the strength of the leadership team we have built together. I remain fully committed to a smooth handoff and to supporting the company's success in the years ahead”.
Christine has been with Ardent for more than 8 years and has held leadership positions across multiple departments from technical to commercial. Most recently, she originated the role of VP of Technology Solutions, integrating product strategy and commercialization. In the CEO role, she will focus on advancing the company's 'molecules of value' strategy that includes decarbonizing power for data centers, deepening operational execution, and building on the foundation established under Erica's leadership.
“I'm honored to step into the CEO role at such an important moment for Ardent,” said Christine. “We have an exceptional team, a validated platform, and a clear opportunity ahead of us. Erica has helped build a company with robust strengths, and I'm excited to work alongside our team, customers, partners, and investors to carry that work forward and translate our strategy into the next phase of growth”.
“Erica has made a lasting contribution to Ardent, helping shape the company's strategy, culture, and long-term position,” said board member Chris Erickson, Partner at Pangaea Ventures. “Christine, supported by Nic and the leadership team, are the right leaders for the company's next chapter. This planned transition reflects the depth of the leadership team, the Board's confidence in the succession process, and our belief in the company's future.”
Erica joined Ardent in 2014 and has served as CEO since 2015. During her tenure, the company evolved from an R&D lab into a profitable, market-driven hardtech separations company, signing over 20 customers across pharma, oil & gas, chemicals and data centers, and raising over $35M in funding.
The company's day-to-day operations, strategy, and commitments to customers and partners will continue without interruption through the transition.
